Casey Cates, MD, is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the care of fractures and post-traumatic reconstruction. He has particular interest in articular fractures (bone breaks near major joints), injuries to the pelvis and acetabulum, and fracture non-union and mal-union. Dr. Cates earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, TX, before completing an internship and residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He then completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Cates earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He then completed fellowship training in orthopedic trauma at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
