Biography

Dorian Wood, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction who sees patients in Dallas and Irving. He is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, restore mobility and return to an active lifestyle through advanced joint replacement and reconstruction procedures. His expertise includes total hip replacement, total knee replacement, robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive anterior hip replacement, outpatient joint replacement and complex hip and knee reconstruction.


Dr. Wood utilizes the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery to improve patient outcomes and recovery. He has a particular interest in robotic-assisted joint replacement, kinematic alignment knee replacement and minimally invasive surgical techniques that help restore function while minimizing disruption to surrounding tissues. He works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans designed to address hip and knee arthritis, joint pain and degenerative joint conditions.

As a fellowship-trained adult reconstruction specialist, Dr. Wood treats a wide range of hip and knee disorders, from arthritis and chronic joint pain to complex reconstruction cases. His goal is to help patients regain independence, improve quality of life and return to the activities they enjoy with greater comfort and confidence.

Dr. Wood is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and partnering with patients throughout every stage of their treatment journey, from diagnosis and education through recovery and rehabilitation.
