Jihoon Choi, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of neck pain, back pain, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis and other spine disorders. He sees patients in Rockwall, Forney, Greenville and Garland and is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized care for adolescent and adult patients with a wide range of spinal conditions.
Dr. Choi has advanced fellowship training in spine surgery and specializes in utilizing the latest innovations in spinal care, including minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic spine surgery, motion preservation techniques, computer-assisted navigation, augmented reality technology and robotic-assisted spine surgery. His goal is to help patients regain function, reduce pain and return to the activities they enjoy while minimizing recovery time whenever possible.
Dedicated to a patient-centered approach, Dr. Choi believes that surgery should be considered only after conservative treatment options have been fully explored. He works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to their condition, symptoms and lifestyle goals, ensuring the most appropriate care for their unique needs.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, playing soccer, discovering new restaurants and traveling.
