Megan G. Newman, MD, FACP

Dr. Megan Newman is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to helping adults achieve better health through preventive care, evidence-based medicine, and strong physician-patient partnerships.

Dr. Newman earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Texas A&M College of Medicine / Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.


Dr. Newman enjoys helping patients navigate both routine and complex health concerns, including preventive care, chronic disease management, women’s health, wellness, and healthy aging. She believes patients deserve care that is thoughtful, personalized, and collaborative, with a focus on understanding the whole person and creating meaningful change that improves health and quality of life.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Newman is actively involved in physician education, mentorship, quality improvement, and medical leadership. She serves in leadership roles within the Texas Chapter of the American College of Physicians and was recognized as the Texas ACP Early Career Physician of the Year in 2025. Outside of medicine, Dr. Newman values family, lifelong learning, wellness, and building meaningful connections within her community.
